Thronton's seventh goal of the season was the game-winner in the third period. Dany Heatley also scored once and assisted once. Heatley's goal was his 18th of the season. Ryane Clowe also scored for the Sharks.

Ilya Bryzgalov kicked away 23 of 24 Flyers' shots as the Coyotes defeated Philadelphia 3-1 Saturday.
This was Bryzgalov's 12th win of the season, good enough to rank second in the NHL. He has been impressive to say the least so far this season as he has a save percentage of .922 and a GAA of 2.04.

Patrick Kane scored once and registered a helper. Kris Versteeg and John Madden also scored goals in the victory. Brian Campbell also racked up two assists.

Penner's goal came on a power play in the third period. Sheldon Souray scored his first of the season in the first period. Shawn Horcoff, Lubomir Visnovsky, and Steve Staios registered assists for the Oilers.

Toskala played much better Saturday night, holding the Leafs in the game long enough to pull out the victory. He made both shots he faced in the shootout.
