"I’ll work on getting stronger, continue to work on my body," Curry said about his offseason plans. "The more minutes you play and the more grind and physical play you endure through the course of a season, you have to re-charge and get your body right for the next season." He had to deal with ankle surgery in the offseason last year, so this year he can try to get better as a player rather than rehab. Curry will be off the board in the first round next year.

Stock of Tim Hardaway, Jr. reportedly rising
Tim Hardaway, Jr. | CLG
(May 17, 2013 5:12 PM EDT)
The draft stock of Tim Hardaway, Jr. is rising after the former Michigan point guard excelled in drills and in team interviews, a source told Sam Amico of FoxSports Ohio.
As with all pre-draft stories involving prospects' stock, take this one with a grain of salt. While the athleticism shown at the combine Friday is a good thing, it's not exactly surprising that Hardaway, Jr., the son of a former NBA All-Star, would know how to behave in a meeting. Hardaway, Jr. is likely to be picked at the end of the first round and could slide to the second.

Larry Drew to interview with Bucks on Monday
Larry Drew | ATL
(May 17, 2013 4:54 PM EDT)
Hawks coach Larry Drew says he will interview for the Bucks' head-coaching vacancy on Monday.
It might seem strange for a coach under contract to be interviewing elsewhere, but Drew told Hawks beat writer Chris Vivlamore that he and GM Danny Ferry agreed to allow Drew to interview elsewhere. Drew said he won't rule out returning to coach the Hawks but said he's "moved on from the situation" in Atlanta. Meanwhile, Ferry has already interviewed at least three candidates to replace Drew and there was a report the number is actually bigger than that. It seems only a matter of time until Drew is no longer officially employed by Atlanta.

Johnson announces Kings' sale deal is signed
Keith Smart | SAC
(May 17, 2013 4:50 PM EDT)
Sacramento mayor Kevin Johnson announced Friday the deal to sell the Kings to a group led by Vivek Ranadive has been signed.
All that's left now is for the NBA to rubber stamp the deal, which should happen sometime next week. Once that's done, Ranadive's group will begin laying out plans for a new arena in Sacramento and likely part ways with GM Geoff Petrie and coach Keith Smart. Not only are the Kings staying put, but it looks like a new day is dawning in Sacramento.

Alex Len says he'll be best player in draft
Alex Len | CLG
(May 17, 2013 4:47 PM EDT)
Alex Len said he'll end up as the best player in the 2013 draft when teams look back on this class in 10 years.
Standing over 7-feet tall and still year to turn 20, Len is one of the prospects with the most upside in a draft largely lacking franchise-altering players. Unfortunately for him, Len's NBA career has already hit a speed bump in the form of an ankle injury that required surgery. Len should be ready to play by the start of the regular season, but a foot injury before his 20th birthday is sure to raise major concerns in a league that has seen its fair share of 7-footers with foot problems. While he might have a ton of potential, his inconsistency at Maryland and injury could send him sliding down a lot of teams' draft boards.

Phil Jackson confirms interest in Seattle job
Phil Jackson | LAK
(May 17, 2013 4:39 PM EDT)
Phil Jackson confirmed on "The Tonight Show" on Thursday night that he had interest in joining the Kings' front office if the franchise relocated to Seattle.
The mutual interest between Jackson and Chris Hansen, who headed the group trying to move the Kings, had become one of the league's worst-kept secret. However, the NBA rejected the move and the Kings were sold to a group that will keep them in Sacramento, which Jackson said doesn't interest him. It also seems unlikely Jackson will be joining the Raptors front office, which had been one of the rumored landing spots for the former Lakers and Bulls coach. One thing that is clear is Jackson is very much interested in returning to the NBA in one form or another. Stay tuned.

Jason Kidd appears to be odd man out for NYK
Jason Kidd | NY
(May 17, 2013 4:35 PM EDT)
Knicks coach Mike Woodson strongly hinted Friday that he would stick with the same rotation and minutes in Saturday's Game 6.
That rotation kept the struggling Jason Kidd and the rusty Amare Stoudemire on the bench for the entire second half. Kidd appears to be barely hanging on at this point in the season while STAT is still adjusting after returning from his second knee surgery of the season. The absence of both players allow Chris Copeland to play a substantial role and the rookie forward gave the Knicks enough of a boost in Game 5 that Woodson said he might increase Copeland's minutes Saturday. It's hard to see either Kidd or STAT having much of an impact the rest of this series.

Harrison Barnes says he feels fine after fall
Harrison Barnes | GS
(May 17, 2013 3:56 PM EDT)
Harrison Barnes said Friday that he felt fine after a scary fall in the second quarter Thursday night in which he landed on his head.
Barnes tried to come out and play the second half but eventually left complaining of headaches. It's unclear if Barnes suffered a concussion, but he'll have the entire offseason to let the symptoms subside after the Warriros were eliminated by the Spurs.

Bogut expects to be 100 percent next season
Andrew Bogut | GS
(May 17, 2013 3:53 PM EDT)
Andrew Bogut said he expects to be 100 percent by the start of next season.
Bogut clarified the statement by saying that could change if "I go out and get hit by a car or something," which sounds funny but isn't all that far from the realm of possibilities given his injury history. Bogut's surgically repaired left ankle limited him to just 32 games in the regular season and affected him enough in the postseason that he required a painkilling injection during the first round. If Bogut can stay healthy for an entire season, he could have a strong fantasy impact but that's a very big "if" at this point in his career.

Report: MLSE has Monday deadline on Colangelo
Dwane Casey | TOR
(May 17, 2013 3:26 PM EDT)
Maple League Sports & Entertainment has until Monday to decide whether to pick up the option on GM Bryan Colangelo's contract, league sources told the Toronto Star.
At this point, it seems highly unlikely that Colangelo will remain, especially considering that the Star also reported MLSE and new CEO Tim Leiweke have hired a head-hunting firm to help whittle down possible candidates to replace Colangelo. Although Phil Jackson's name has been mentioned in connection with the GM position, the hiring a search firm makes that seem less likely. The Star mentioned Pacers GM Kevin Pritchard and Thunder assistant GM Troy Weaver as possible candidates if/when Colangelo is let go.
