If we have learned anything from the worldwide Twitterverse, never speak ill of New York Jets quarterback Tim Tebow or expect to get some Twitter hate from his ever-growing fan base.
Brewers closer John Axford decided to send out a Tebow-related tweet last Friday which soon caught the ire of Tebow fanatics on the social networking site.
In the tweet itself, John made an analogy comparing Tebow to a certain Hollywood family that people love to hate:
After receiving a bunch of negative Tweets, Axford saw the error of his ways and tried to explain the logic for his analogy in some subsequent tweets. To be fair to John, he actually does a good job of explaining himself:
The Twitter lesson to be learned from this incident, never compare Tim Tebow to a Kardashian unless its Bruce Jenner.
