LONDON (AP) -Handicappers at the British Horseracing Authority have rated Frankel as the second-best horse ever after his sensational 11-length win at the Queen Anne Stakes at Royal Ascot.
Frankel's official rating has risen to 140, second only to Dancing Brave, who was given 141 after winning the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe in 1986.
BHA handicapper Dominic Gardiner-Hill says "Frankel's win in the Queen Anne was one of the most visually stunning I have seen in my time as a handicapper."
Frankel is the top-ranked flat-racing horse in the world, with Tuesday's win extending his unbeaten streak to 11 races.
Rod Street, chief executive of the British Champions Series, says "we have to enjoy him while we can as we will surely never see another like him."
